Cara Delevingne Stars in the Latest Chanel Video

The second of Chanel’s short films, celebrating the sprit of Gabrielle Chanel and her eponymous Gabrielle bags, has been released. Completely unlike the first video with Kristen Stewart, the newest release is a rotoscoped animation created by Japanese director ShiShi Yamazki, and staring supermodel Cara Delevingne. 

Delevingne is transformed into a skateboarding heroine, one who discovers a dream world where Chanel’s Gabrielle bags hang like tantalising fruit. In a rush of euphoria she grabs each one, before taking off on her skateboard. The film continues the fashion house’s narrative of embracing Gabrielle Chanel’s pioneering spirit, one that breaks the rules and refuses to conform.
