Watch: Elon Musk Reveals Underground Network For Cars in TED Talk

In a recent TED Talk— Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk showcased his vision for an underground transit network from his “Boring Company” which would allow cars to travel on a sled connected to rails at speeds of up to 200kph.

This innovation would be extremely useful for high traffic cities such as Beijing, Bangkok or Mexico City. At the moment, the project is in its earliest stages, with The Boring Company in the process of building a demo tunnel in the SpaceX parking lot.
