Chanel’s tour de force, Karl Lagerfeld conducted a radio interview with French astronaut Thomas Presquet, the inspiration behind the label’s Fall-Winter 17/18 collection, which featured a 35 meter tall rocket inside the Grand Palais in Paris. The twist? Presquet was in orbit at the time, WWD reports. The interview was broadcasted live on French radio station ‘France Info’ on Saturday. The designer queried Presquet on every aspect of life aboard the International Space Station, from his diet, to zero-gravity workouts and even washing. Lagerfeld was taken by the charismatic cosmonaut who has fascinated France with his regular reports from space, since November. See the full article here.
