All About Louis Vuitton’s SS18 Catwalk
By#legendOctober 3, 2017
Paris’s Musée du Louvre is known for all things art and all things French: the Mona Lisa, La Grande Odalisque, Venus de Milo, and … Louis Vuitton? Nicholas Ghesquière presented the Louis Vuitton Spring / Summer 2018 collection at the Louvre, as an ode to the new and the old, much like the location with its historic façade juxtaposed with modern additions. The collection sought to create looks transcending time, by combining ceremonial, French aristocratic garments with the modernity of sharply tailored trousers and hefty sneakers. This is a collection for the times.
