Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Baccarat Rouge 540 is a classic fragrance that lingers not just in the air, but in the minds of many. It recently won the title of best women's fragrance at #legend's Beauty Awards 2025

For crystal maker Baccarat’s 250th anniversary in 2014, Maison Francis Kurkdjian created the Baccarat Rouge 540 fragrance in just a limited batch of 250 numbered bottles.

It has since become a staple of Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s fragrance lineup as an eau de parfum, extrait de parfum and a rich variety of scented rituals. The perfume's radiant saffron is underscored by airy Egyptian jasmine facets and mineral notes of Ambroxan that evoke ambergris, while red cedar give it a spicy and fiery tone.

Speaking of fiery, the fragrance bottle is reminiscent of Baccarat’s iconic scarlet-red crystal. The intense fragrance was inspired by the fusion process of the red crystal, which is the result of clear crystal gradually fusing with 24-karat gold powder at 540 degrees Celsius (1,004°F) and turning bright red. The bottle reflects the inspiration with its dazzling red colour and golden details that recall the crystal’s fusion process.
