Saint Laurent to Skip Men’s Fashion Week in Paris
By#legendJune 8, 2016
?Saint Laurent will not show in Paris this season following the appointment of new artistic director Anthony Vaccarello.
The Belgian designer will skip the city’s menswear Spring/Summer 2017 shows and instead reveal his debut collection for the house in September as part of the women’s ready-to-wear circuit, Vogue Paris reports.
The Kering company announced Vaccarello as the successor to Hedi Slimane back in April of this year. The designer previously worked at Fendi before launching his own line in 2009. He was promoted to creative director of Versus Versace in early 2015 by Donatella Versace — a collaboration that ended with his appointment at Saint Laurent.
