Uniqlo Collaborates with JW Anderson
Casualwear giant Uniqlo will be launching a range designed by Northern Irish designer Johnathan Anderson for fall 2017.
The creative director of both Loewe and his namesake label, Anderson will be one of Uniqlo’s design influencers for their fall 2017 LifeWear label along with French model Ines de la Fressange, Muslim designer Hana Tajima and Disney’s Mickey Mouse. The collaboration, including clothing for both men and women, will make JW Anderson’s thought-provoking design aesthetic more accessible to the mass market.
“It’s nice that my design can be accessible to anyone, on all different levels” the designer told Business of Fashion.
Anderson is no stranger to collaborations, having partnered with the likes of A$AP Rocky, Versus Versace and Topshop in previous design collaborations.
