A Peek Inside The Ned, London’s Hottest New Hotel
By#legendMay 10, 2017
The Ned is a newly opened hotel, club and collection of restaurants in the heart of London. The work of Soho House & Co and Sydell Group, The Ned occupies a building designed in 1924 by Sir Edwin “Ned” Lutyens that once housed the head office of the Midland Bank. A 1920s and 1930s vibe runs through the nine restaurants and 252 suites. A more modern touch is access to Ned’s Club for guests of the hotel and, of course, members. The club has a rooftop swimming pool, a gym, a spa, a hammam and a late-night lounge bar in what was once the bank vault. The vault contains 3,000 safe-deposit boxes made of stainless steel.
