"I’ve been really into beer lately, and White Stag in Wan Chai has become one of my favourite spots. They serve a great pint of draught Guinness, and it’s also a relaxed place to hang out with friends."

"I’m always on the hunt for bars that serve a fresh pint of draught Guinness. My top picks are White Stag in Wan Chai, Delaney’s in Tsim Sha Tsui and The Diplomat. In my opinion, they pour some of the best Guinness in Hong Kong."

"I would recommend visiting one of Hong Kong’s quieter outlying islands, such as Peng Chau, for a relaxing weekend away from the crowds. There are plenty of places to eat, from local cha chaan tengs to Western-style cafés. After exploring the island, watching the sunset by the waterfront is a lovely way to end a summer weekend."

"We love going to Shenzhen because it’s so close and easy to visit with the kids. The food is great, there’s something for everyone, and the whole family gets to practise our Mandarin. Kenneth and I also love going for head massages while we’re there. They’re incredibly relaxing and always one of the highlights of the trip."

"I recently swapped Shenzhen for Shanghai as my go-to weekend destination, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. It’s only around two hours away, but the atmosphere feels completely different from Hong Kong.
The shopping alone makes the trip worthwhile. Shanghai has so many shopping districts, trendy pop-ups and limited-edition drops that every visit feels different. I usually bring an empty suitcase because I know I’ll be returning with plenty of new outfits. The food and bar scene is just as exciting, not only because of the variety and quality, but also the experiences. There are interactive concepts, hidden speakeasies and playful themed bars, so there is always something new to discover."

“These days, I’m all about short weekend getaways. For summer, Okinawa is always top of my list. The flight is quick, and the vacation vibes hit you the second you land. Plus, it’s the perfect excuse to restock on my favourite Japanese groceries and home essentials. And in the summer? You have no idea just how incredible the beaches and sunshine are."
