In the golden age of contemporary Thai entertainment, few pairings command as much global adoration as Naravit Lertratkosum (Pond) and Phuwin Tangsakyuen (Phuwin). Represented by Bangkok-based powerhouse GMMTV and affectionately known as “PondPhuwin” to millions of fans worldwide, the duo has seamlessly evolved from promising on-screen partners into a true cultural phenomenon. Beyond their success as leading actors in hit television dramas, their natural visual chemistry and distinct personal styles have firmly established them as two of the most sought-after fashion icons across Southeast Asia and the international fashion circuit

The origin of Pond and Phuwin’s professional partnership traces back to around 2020. Having just won the Go On Girl & Guy Star Search competition, Pond entered Gmmtv as a promising newcomer who possessed an athletic 185cm frame, statuesque charisma and an engineering background from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.

Conversely, Phuwin brought nearly a decade of industry experience as a former child actor. Beyond his formidable acting credentials, Phuwin is widely celebrated for his academic accomplishments, having earned an Information and Communication Engineering degree from the prestigious Chulalongkorn University while remaining fluent in both Thai and English, a linguistic skill that even earned him the voice role of Lifeweaver in Overwatch 2.

Recognising their complementary energies during audition workshops, Gmmtv paired them as dual leads for the 2021 romantic comedy Fish Upon the Sky. The instant chemical spark between Pond’s bold, protective character and Phuwin’s sharp, witty persona captured an enthusiastic international audience. They solidified their dramatic credentials in the 2022 hit Never Let Me Go, tackling an intense bodyguard-and-master dynamic, before returning to romantic university storytelling in We Are (2024). Most recently, in Me and Thee (2025–2026), they explored modern workplace chemistry as a charismatic mafia heir and a top-tier fashion photographer, reflecting their own maturation both on and off screen.

As their television projects expanded their global reach, Pond and Phuwin naturally pivoted into high fashion, becoming top-tier brand ambassadors and front-row regulars for luxury fashion houses across Europe and Asia. Phuwin’s delicate, intellectual features and graceful poise earned him high-profile appointments as a Tommy Hilfiger Brand Ambassador and Friend of Loewe, while Pond’s commanding proportions and masculine charm routinely land him invitations to regional luxury launches and international fashion week presentations.
