One of Friday’s standout moments came during Anyma’s set, when the producer brought out Blackpink’s Lisa for their collaborative single “Bad Angel.” Set within the futuristic world of his new ÆDEN show, Lisa appeared in a striking cyberpunk angel look that echoed the set’s sleek, otherworldly tone, marking her fourth Coachella appearance. As the set drew to a close, Joji also joined Anyma for their new single, “Beautiful,” returning to the festival stage for the first time since 2022.

Another major Friday highlight came when Sabrina Carpenter surprised the crowd with Madonna during her headlining set. The appearance instantly shifted the scale of the night, bringing together two generations of pop on one of the festival’s biggest stages. They went straight into “Vogue,” before continuing with “Like a Prayer” and a new duet, turning the close of Sabrina’s set into one of Weekend 2’s defining moments.

One of Saturday’s most talked-about moments came from Fujii Kaze, who briefly covered BigBang’s “Bad Boy” before moving into his own hit “Shinunoga E-Wa.” The transition landed especially well with fans, not only as a tribute to one of K-pop’s most influential groups, but also because Kaze has previously spoken about his admiration for BigBang and the song’s influence on him. The moment was carried even further online when G-Dragon later reposted the clip.

PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson reunite on stage

Saturday also saw PinkPantheress add another standout guest to her set by bringing out Zara Larsson. Their appearance naturally drew attention to “Stateside,” the song that connects the two artists, and gave the performance an added sense of momentum. While they did not perform the track together, Zara still made the most of the moment by delivering “Midnight Sun,” which kept the crowd's energy high and added another sharp pop turn to PinkPantheress’ set.

A full-circle moment for Billie Eilish and Justin Bieber

Perhaps the most emotional moment of Week 2 came during Justin Bieber’s Saturday headlining set, when Billie Eilish joined him on stage for “One Less Lonely Girl.” The appearance resonated beyond surprise value alone, given Eilish’s long-documented admiration for Bieber since her early years. That history gave the moment a genuine sense of full circle, turning what could have been a simple guest spot into one of the weekend’s warmest and most widely shared scenes.

BigBang closes Weekend 2 with a tour reveal

On Sunday, BigBang carried the force of their first-weekend comeback into a second set that felt just as charged, this time adding “Bae Bae” to the performance. Instead of featuring guest performances, the group kept the spotlight firmly on themselves, which made the closing announcement land even harder: a world tour beginning in August. With that, their Coachella return became more than a festival moment – it officially opened the door to the group’s next chapter.
