If there’s one thing K-pop fans know how to do well, it’s obsessing over their idols and rallying in great numbers to support a cause, whether it’s to promote their favourite artists or in this case, take down right-wing hashtags.
After days of widespread protests following the death of George Floyd, K-pop fans joined the battle against racial injustice by flooding right-wing hashtags such as #WhiteLivesMatter, #Bluelivesmatter, and #AllLivesMatter with memes and fancams of their favourite K-Pop stars.
